What's up everybody, I'm Justin Baldoni.
GQ and Lexus hit me up and said they wanted to join me
and ride along with me on one of my days off.
We're gonna go hang out with two of my best friends
who I haven't seen seen in like a month
because I work too hard.
So let's do this.
I'm 35 and I'm quite literally living a dream.
But you don't get to chase and fulfill your dreams
without a crap load of work.
For five years I've bene on a TV show,
so when I do get a day off, I cherish it.
I try to mix both my family with seeing my friends.
And then when you push up, let's--
Why are you only talking to Travis?
I can be who I am and I can show up as messy
and screwed up as I am or as tired as I am
and we can just laugh and joke and poke fun at each other.
There's something about that, in many ways, recharges me.
We don't need anything from each other.
We could quite literally take a ball,
put it in the hoop for hours, and just talk about nothing.
Well, we both have kids.
On to the next stop.
I think that our style should never
be dictated by what's trendy.
For me it's just about a feeling.
Does it feel good?
Does it accentuate who I am?
I really take a lot of pride in craftsmanship.
And the first time I got in a Lexus,
I just remember sitting in it and feeling comfortable.
I could tell it was well-made,
I know it's beautiful, and I felt good in it,
which is really at the core of craftsmanship.
The one thing I am good at is grilling.
I just burned this meat.
This is good, though, who wants this?
Dude, thanks for the food.
Thanks for hosting.
I miss you guys.
I think one of the hardest things for me, the balance
between the pursuit of success and our careers
and then also maintaining real relationships.
There was a time when Travis and I hung out every day.
Two things that you're most grateful for.
I'm grateful for your age, because of your wisdom.
Honestly, I'm grateful I have friendships like yours.
I'm appreciative that I have friends that I can laugh with
and joke with and then also go deep with.
Okay, well we love you, man.
I love you, bro.
I believe that time is probably
our most valuable resource.
Understanding that we all go through the cycle of life
because you have this much time,
so the question is, what are you gonna do with it?
